I wish you all the very best in the New Year and all success in your efforts to spread the loving message of Sahaja Yoga.”

Welcome to the official blog of the Ghana Self-realisation Tour 2009. The tour was supported by the Sahaja Yoga World Foundation and the UK Council for the Advancement of Sahaja Yoga, and took place between 16-31 October 2009.

Within the blog are day-by-day accounts of our experiences in Ghana in West Africa. In short, 385 new people came to nine public programmes in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Sankor. Several hundred received Self-realisation in the streets and potentially hundreds of thousands (maybe even millions) received realisation via the two peak-time broadcasts on national breakfast television.

Jai Shri Afrikeshwari !  Jai Shri Mataji !

Ghana: The Land of the Ganas

Situated at the geographical centre of the world (5 degrees North, 0 degrees West), Shri Mataji tells us that within Africa, Ghana is the Land of the Ganas. The Ganas are Shri Shivas soldiers who defend the physical and subtle body from all forms of negative attack. They are always anxious to get the Divine work done and are always ready to please the Divine. It is therefore especially auspicious that the tour should be organised by the UK, the Land of Shri Shiva.

The map below shows the tour route, which begins in Accra:
